Celebrated sushi restaurant to host nine-course dinner complete with exclusive,
rare sake pairings poured by renowned sake expert Chris Pearce
Reminiscent of traditional dining establishments in Japan, Omakase has earned a reputation for being one of the highest quality and most authentic sushi restaurants in the Bay Area, as well as for its sophisticated and relaxing atmosphere. After only one year in operation, Omakase has received a Michelin Star and a “Top 100” ranking by the San Francisco Chronicle’s restaurant critic, Michael Bauer.

Each dish is paired with a sake that complements its flavor and aroma. Pearce will introduce each label, sharing tales from the breweries along the way. As the founder of the annual Joy of Sake events, which attract over 3,500 sake fans every year in Honolulu, New York and Tokyo, he has a unique perspective on what’s happening in the sake world today.
The Anniversary dinners at Omakase take place on September 21 and 22, with one seating each evening at 8:30 p.m. Each seating is limited to 20 guests. Dinner is $350 per person, excluding tax and gratuity. For reservations, please call Omakase at 415-865-0633. (Menu subject to change.)
